Using Your Starter Pokemon With Double Kick

Both Pikachu and Eevee have the capability of learning double kick. This move will great increase your chances of winning vs Brock. This is because Double Kick is a fighting move which is effective vs Rock/Ground type Pokemon.

Using Grass Type Moves From Wild Pokemon

Using the grass type Pokemon stated above will also greatly increase your chances of winning. Both Oddish and Bellsprout are great choices for the fight versus Brock. Grass move types are x4 or Super Effective vs Ground/Rock type Pokemon.

  Using moves that lower defense.

Moves like Tail Whip are available to both Pikachu and Eevee and this move will lower the enemies defense. This is especially useful versus Brock due to the Ground/Rock Type Pokemon’s high defense. This will allow you to damage the Pokemon to a much greater degree.
